I am an astrophysicist, a teacher, and a writer — driven by curiosity and a deep appreciation for the beauty of the universe.

Who I am
I study supermassive black holes that lie at the centers of galaxies across cosmic time.
I am passionate about teaching a wide range of physics and astrophysics classes, and I’ve had the privilege of mentoring many undergraduate and graduate students — each one teaching me as much about curiosity and persistence as I hope I’ve offered in return.
I care deeply about communicating science beyond academia, about sharing the beauty of discovery with anyone who looks up and wonders.
“Curiosity is fundamental to being human — it connects us to each other and to the universe.”
What I do
My work brings together research, teaching, and writing — all guided by curiosity and a desire to understand how the universe works and why it moves us.
🌌 Research
Exploring supermassive and intermediate-mass black holes and their role in shaping galaxies.
🎓 Teaching
Helping students discover the beauty of physics, from relativity to quantum mechanics.
📚 Resources
Creating guides, tools, and materials to support young scientists.
💫 Writing
Sharing stories that connect science, wonder, and the human experience.
💌 Outreach
Speaking and collaborating to make astrophysics accessible and inspiring for everyone.
I hope these pages help you navigate your path — whether you are a student, a scientist, or simply someone drawn to the night sky.
May they remind you to keep a cosmic perspective as you move through your days, to stay curious, and to meet the universe — and yourself — with wonder and courage.
